Oct, 14 2019Phil1We rented this home from July 29, 2017 till August 5, 2017. Unfortunately we were not allowed to occupy the home due to the mandatory evacuation order caused by a widespread power outage. Both the realty company, Surt or Sound, and the owners have refused to offer any refund or credit for our missed vacation even though we never set foot in the house at no fault of our own. I would be very cautious dealing with either entity in the future, we feel we were treated very unfairly, paying over $5500 and getting zilch in return.
